 Kanye West revealed the name of his upcoming album title on Twitter
The 37-year-old announced Saturday that his new album, which has yet to get a release date, will be titled "So Help Me God." West tweeted the title along with a photo that is thought to be a 13th century monastic symbol for the Virgin Mary, according to Rolling Stone.

Philippe Coutinho scored a stunning winner as Liverpool dented Manchester City's Premier League title defence with a narrow victory at Anfield.

Jordan Henderson's curling effort put the Reds ahead before Edin Dzeko finished off a slick move to equalise.
But Brazil midfielder Coutinho capped a fine display with the decisive goal when he struck from 25 yards.
The result leaves City five points behind Chelsea having played a game extra, while Liverpool move to fifth.

CHELSEA WIN LEAGUE CUP FINAL

 

Jose Mourinho claimed his first trophy since returning for his second spell as Chelsea manager with a comfortable Capital One Cup final victory over Tottenham at Wembley.

John Terry and Diego Costa did the damage - both with the aid of deflections - either side of the interval as Spurs' hopes of repeating their success over Chelsea in this competition seven years ago never got off the ground.
The win gave Mourinho his first silverware since La Liga success with Real Madrid in 2012 and Chelsea their first since the Europa League final victory against Benfica in Amsterdam a year later.
Despite a career laden with trophies, Mourinho claimed this was the most important final of his time in the game and Chelsea were never seriously troubled once Christian Eriksen's early free-kick rebounded to safety off the woodwork.

In an interview with Access Hollywood set to air today Jan. 17th, after Whitney's Lifetime biopic airs, Bobby opened up about the cheating rumours that followed the couple for years.

OSCAR PISTORIUS GRANTED BAIL. SENTENCING SET TO BE OCT. 13

For his manslaughter charge, Oscar Pistorius faces from a 'fine to 15 years in prison' but the judge granted him bail extension today and asked him to go home.The judge didn't believe he will attempt to run despite the fact that he's sold all his property (to pay his legal fees). Oscar will remain in the custody of his uncle until October 13th when he will return to court for sentencing...

OSCAR PISTORIUS FOUND GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER

Yesterday Oscar Pistorius was found not guilty of premeditated murder and second degree murder because according to the judge, his conduct after the shooting was 'inconsistent' with someone who intended to commit murder. But he has been found guilty of manslaughter this morning. The judge said he acted negligently when he fired shots into the toilet door. The question now is, will he be jailed for manslaughter?

*He was also found not guilty of the first firearm charge - (firing a gun through the roof of his car)
*He was found not guilty of the third firearm charge (unlawfully possessing 38 rounds of ammunition at his home without having a license).
*He was found guilty of the second firearm charge. He discharged a weapon in a public place, a restaurant called Tashas and asked his friend to take the blame. The judge says Oscar was sufficiently trained in the use of firearms, so should not have asked for a firearm in a public place

The judge said no one submitted that there was an intention to pull the trigger, but that does not absolve him of the crime of negligently handling a firearm. Will Oscar walk?

A day after a video showing how her husband punched, knocked her out and dragged her from an elevator was released, (read here) Janay Rice took to instagram to address the issue, defending her husband and calling out the media.

Her husband, former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, did not only lose his job after the video was released, there's a petition to ban him from the NFL and possibly arrest him.

Janay talks about how the release of the video has practically ruined their lives.

DOCTORS REJECT SEPTEMBER 22 DATE RESUMPTION

The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has rejected the Monday September 22nd resumption directive given by FG to all Primary and Secondary schools due to the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria.

The NMA speaking through its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Olawunmi Layaki, said they expect all schools to remain closed until December or early next year when all Ebola suspects under surveillance have been cleared and certified free of the virus.

NIGERIAN FOOTBALL AGENT CAUGHT ON VIDEO PROMISING TO ARRANGE A YELLOW CARD FOR E41K DURING WORLD CUP

Henry Chukwuma Okoroji, a Nigerian match fixer has been indicted in a match fixing scam after he was caught on camera telling an undercover UK Sun Newspaper reporter, Mahzher Mahmood, he could arrange a yellow card during the World Cup games for more than 41,000pounds and a penalty for 81,000pounds.

Daily Mail reports that Okoroji spoke with the reporter in company of his associate, Joe, in a hotel room in Milan, Italy. He was recorded saying he could facilitate different outcomes on the football field, including a red card, depending on the amount the reporter was willing to pay. He was reported to have said that he was working with two other Nigerian players as well as a senior official of the Nigerian Football Federation in the match-fixing scam, who he said could help influence the Nigerian squad in the world cup. In a bid to prove his credibility, Okoroji was said to have invited a Nigerian/Lazio footballer, Ogenyi Onazi (pictured right) to the hotel but Onazi is not thought to be involved in the plot.

 

Only last week, the National Crime Agency (NCA) began investigations into claims that the friendly match between Nigeria and Scotland was fixed. Investigations into that allegation is still going on according to an NCA official.
